When customizing an automatic flat screen printer for a user, you will usually encounter the design of the screen printer structure. The shuttle-type flat screen printer and the turntable-type flat screen printer are the two most important types. The workbench of the shuttle-type screen printer slides on a servo-driven linear guide rail and enters different screen printing stations and UV drying stations in turn; while the workbench of the turntable-type screen printer rotates at equal angles around a large disc and enters the pre-press processing, screen printing, and UV curing device in turn.
Shuttle-type automatic UV LED screen printer: usually uses a double-track shuttle beam and a clamping shuttle platform for loading, and is driven by a servo motor to transfer to ensure speed and accuracy. The worktable is generally treated with a special process, which has the properties of not scratching the printed parts, wear resistance, and excellent solvent resistance. The positioning method is often multi-point center positioning, which is driven by a servo motor to ensure positioning accuracy. It is also equipped with automatic loading and unloading devices, some with CCD automatic alignment systems, automatic loading through a manipulator, and CCD lens captures the focus.
• Turntable UV LED screen printer: There is a rotatable turntable workbench with multiple workstations on it. The product is placed on the workstation and printed as the turntable rotates. It is often equipped with a reduction motor for vertical lifting, and cooperates with the linear guide ball screw to lift and control positioning, with fast speed and accurate positioning.
Difference
• Printing accuracy: The shuttle-type automatic UV LED screen printer generally has only one fixture to shuttle back and forth, without the manufacturing error of the fixture, and the overprinting accuracy is relatively high. If the manufacturing accuracy of the turntable UV LED screen printer is not high or there is an error in the rotation of the turntable, it may affect the overprinting accuracy, but if it is well manufactured and assembled, it can also achieve higher accuracy.
• Printing speed: The shuttle type can only place one product, and it needs to wait until the product is printed before the next one can be printed, so the printing speed is slow. The turntable type can perform different operations such as loading, printing, drying, and unloading at multiple stations at the same time, with a fast printing speed. For example, some turntable UV LED screen printers can produce 900-1200 times per hour.
• Printing product size: The shuttle type does not have the problem of interference with adjacent products, and can print products with larger dimensions. The turntable type is limited by the turntable size and the spacing between workstations, and is suitable for printing small-sized products. However, there are also models that can customize large-size turntables to print larger products.
• Floor space: The shuttle type usually shuttles in a straight line, and the floor space is relatively large. The turntable type has a more compact structure, and the whole machine structure is stable, firm and durable, and the floor space is less than that of the same type of production line.
