Screen washing station
During the screen making process, it is used to wash the photosensitive glue after the screen is developed, so that the image area is exposed; it can also be used to wash the ink on the printing screen to ensure that the screen is clean.
Function
• Remove residual ink: After the printing operation is completed, there will be residual ink on the screen. The washing station can effectively remove these residues to prevent them from clogging the mesh after drying and affecting the quality of the next printing.
• Extend the service life of the screen: Regular cleaning can prevent the corrosion and damage of the ink and impurities to the screen, maintain the tension and precision of the screen, and extend its service life.
Structure
• Sink: It is the main part, used to hold the cleaning liquid. It is generally made of stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant and easy to clean.
• Nozzle: It is installed above the sink and can spray high-pressure water to wash the screen in all directions. Some washing station nozzles can be adjusted in angle.
• Filtration system: Usually located at the bottom of the sink, it can filter impurities and ink particles generated during the cleaning process, so that the cleaning liquid can be recycled.
• Drying rack: Set above or beside the sink to dry the cleaned screen and evaporate the water quickly.
How to use
• Preparation: First add an appropriate amount of special cleaning liquid to the sink, and then put the screen to be cleaned into the sink.
• Flushing process: Turn on the nozzle and let the high-pressure water flow to flush the front and back of the screen, focusing on the areas with more ink residue to ensure that the mesh is unobstructed.
• Filter cleaning liquid: During the flushing process, the filtration system continues to work to remove impurities. If the cleaning liquid is too turbid, it needs to be replaced in time.
• Dry the screen: After rinsing, place the screen on the drying rack to dry naturally or wipe it gently with a clean soft cloth before storing.
