Body structure
Shuttle workbench: used to place large-size plastic barrels to be hot stamped. The plastic barrels will keep rotating at a constant speed while moving in a shuttle manner.
Hot stamping system
• Hot stamping head: The hot stamping head is generally a flat structure with a heating tube inside. The hot stamping head can be raised and lowered under the drive of the cylinder. The hot stamping head will be installed with a hot stamping plate, and the plate will be engraved with patterns or texts that need to be hot stamped.
• Heating device: The heating tube inside the hot stamping head will generate heat when powered on, causing the hot stamping plate to heat up. The temperature setting is based on the nature of the substrate. The heating device has an automatic temperature control function. When the actual temperature is lower than the set temperature, the heating tube continues to heat up. When the actual temperature is equal to or greater than the set temperature, the heating tube automatically shuts down. The heating device must ensure a relatively stable temperature.
• Pressure system: generally composed of cylinders, hydraulic cylinders or mechanical levers, etc., to provide uniform and appropriate pressure between the hot stamping plate and the plastic barrel, ensure that the electrochemical aluminum foil fits tightly with the surface of the plastic barrel, and transfer the hot stamping pattern to the plastic barrel completely and firmly. The pressure can be adjusted according to the material, shape and hot stamping pattern requirements of the plastic barrel.
Transmission system
• Motor: as a power source, it provides power for the operation of the fixture.
• Drive belt or drive chain: connect the motor and other components, and transmit the power of the motor to the workbench, which can drive the plastic barrel to move and rotate.
• Rotating device: for the hot stamping of curved surfaces of large-sized plastic barrels, the machine is usually equipped with a rotating device, which can make the plastic barrel rotate around its own axis during the hot stamping process, and cooperate with the movement of the hot stamping plate to ensure that all parts of the curved surface of the plastic barrel can be evenly hot stamped, so as to obtain a complete and continuous hot stamping pattern.
Control system
• Temperature control: accurately control the temperature of the heating device to ensure the stability and accuracy of the temperature during the hot stamping process to obtain the ideal hot stamping effect.
• Pressure control: According to different hot stamping requirements, the pressure of the pressure system is accurately adjusted to ensure that the pressure between the hot stamping plate and the plastic barrel is uniform and moderate.
• Motion control: Control the movement speed, direction and stroke of the transmission system to coordinate the movement of the hot stamping plate and the plastic barrel to achieve efficient and accurate hot stamping operations. In addition, the control system may also have automatic control functions, such as automatic feeding, automatic receiving, automatic counting, etc., to improve production efficiency and processing accuracy.
