1. Working principle

• Flat UV curing machine mainly uses ultraviolet light (UV) to cure the ink printed by the offset printing machine. There is a UV lamp inside (UV-LED light source in UV-LED curing machine). When the printed product passes through the curing machine, the ultraviolet light emitted by the light source irradiates the ink layer. Under the stimulation of ultraviolet light, the photoinitiator in the ink produces free radicals or cations. These active substances trigger the polymerization reaction of monomers and prepolymers in the ink, so that the ink quickly changes from liquid to solid, thereby achieving the curing of the ink.

2. Features of high-speed adjustable and variable frequency speed regulation

• High-speed adjustable: The speed of the offset printing machine will change under different printing tasks, which requires the matching UV curing machine to adapt to different speeds. The high-speed adjustable function enables the curing machine to be flexibly adjusted according to the printing speed of the offset printing machine. For example, when the offset printing machine is printing at high speed, the curing machine can increase the power or speed up the conveyor belt accordingly to ensure that the ink is fully cured in a short time; when the offset printing machine is running at low speed, the curing machine can also reduce the power to avoid over-curing, thereby achieving the purpose of energy saving and ensuring printing quality.

• Frequency conversion speed regulation: The speed of the curing machine is adjusted by frequency conversion technology. The frequency conversion speed regulation system can accurately control the speed of the motor, and then adjust the running speed of the conveyor belt inside the curing machine. This can not only match the speed of the offset printing machine, but also achieve smooth transition when starting and stopping, reduce the impact on the equipment, and extend the service life of the equipment. Moreover, the frequency conversion speed regulation can also be flexibly adjusted according to factors such as the material of the printed matter and the type of ink, making the curing process more accurate.
