Function

Structure
• UV lamp: It is the core component that emits ultraviolet rays. Its power and wavelength are determined according to the curing requirements. For example, the commonly used wavelength range is between 365-405nm.
• Reflector: Usually made of high-reflectivity materials, such as aluminum reflector, its function is to concentrate the ultraviolet rays emitted by the UV lamp to the surface of the printed material to improve the utilization efficiency of ultraviolet rays.
• Conveyor system: It consists of a conveyor belt and a drive motor to ensure that paper, film or plastic materials pass through the curing area at a uniform speed, so that the curing effect is uniform and consistent.
• Cooling system: Because UV lamps generate a lot of heat when working, the cooling system can prevent the equipment from overheating and ensure the normal operation and curing effect of the equipment.
How to use
• Installation and debugging: Install the UV curing machine at the output end of the flat screen printer, ensure that the conveying system matches the discharge direction and speed of the screen printer, and adjust the height and angle of the UV lamp to keep it at a suitable distance and irradiation angle from the surface of the printed material.
• Setting parameters: Set the power, curing time and other parameters of the UV lamp according to factors such as the type of printing material, the nature of the ink or coating, and the printing speed. For example, for ink curing on thick paper, higher power and slightly longer curing time may be required.
• Start operation: Start the UV curing machine and the flat screen printer. After the printed material is output from the screen printer, it enters the conveyor belt of the UV curing machine and passes through the curing area at a uniform speed to complete the curing process. During operation, pay attention to the curing effect and adjust the parameters in time if there is any abnormality.
There are many drying methods for ink printed on the product, and UV drying is a common one: Photosensitive resin is used as a binder in UV ink, which will cause a cross-linking reaction under the irradiation of ultraviolet rays, thereby triggering the curing of the ink.
