Working principle
• The pad printer mainly transfers the pattern or text etched on the steel plate to the surface of the object (such as a safety helmet, helmet, etc.) through the rubber head. First, the ink supply system of the oil cup supplies ink to the etched steel plate, and the printing head moves up and down independently to dip the ink pattern on the steel plate, and then the rubber head transfers the ink to the workpiece. For four-color pad printing, by repeating this process many times, different colors of steel plates and rubber heads are used to complete the transfer of multi-color patterns.
Structural features
• Three-axis servo mechanism: It can accurately control the movement of the rubber head in three-dimensional space (X, Y, Z axis). The position of the rubber head to the steel plate and the workpiece can be accurately positioned in the X-axis and Y-axis directions to ensure that the rubber head accurately dips the ink and transfers. The Z-axis direction controls the up and down movement of the rubber head to achieve precise ink dipping and printing. For example, when printing on the curved surface of a safety helmet, the position and height of the rubber head can be flexibly adjusted through the three-axis servo mechanism to adapt to the curvature of different parts of the safety helmet to achieve precise printing.
• Shuttle table: The shuttle table allows the workpieces to be printed to be quickly fed in and out of the printing area. It can improve work efficiency, for example, while one workpiece is being printed, the next workpiece can be placed on the other side of the table. And the movement of the shuttle table is also very precise, ensuring that the workpiece enters the printing position accurately every time.
• Touch screen control panel: Provides an intuitive operation interface for users to set printing parameters. You can adjust many parameters such as the speed of the rubber head movement, printing pressure, and ink supply. Users can flexibly set it according to different printing requirements (such as helmets of different materials and different pattern complexity) through simple touch operations.
• Independent up and down print heads: Each print head can move up and down independently, so that when performing multi-color printing, the ink dipping and printing actions of each print head can be controlled separately. It helps to accurately adjust the position and pressure of the print head according to the characteristics of different color inks and pattern requirements, and improve the printing quality.
• Ink cup ink supply system: The ink cup can stably supply ink to the steel plate and can better control the amount of ink. Compared with the traditional ink supply method, it can reduce ink waste while ensuring the uniformity of ink supply, making the amount of ink dipped into the pad more stable each time, which helps to print a pattern with uniform color.
• Automatic pad cleaning: During the printing process or after the printing is completed, the automatic pad cleaning function can promptly remove the ink remaining on the pad to prevent the ink from drying and affecting the performance of the pad and the subsequent printing quality. This function improves the service life of the pad and the stability of printing.
Pad printing machines with shuttle tables can only print one product at a time, and the printing efficiency is low. The initial shuttle table was controlled by the cylinder , switching back and forth between different printing positions, and the accuracy was not high. As users have higher requirements for product printing quality, shuttle tables are increasingly controlled by servo motors.
